Double-Stop Variations
Hey Blues Fans!
Here’s the last lick for 2008. I wish everyone a happy and prosperous 2009.
This is a simple double-stop lick played three different ways using a bend, a rip, and a harmonic. I didn’t realize it until after I recorded the video, but my A string went slightly flat, so forgive me for that.
The key to playing the harmonic is to lightly touch the side of your thumb on the 17th fret (or 12 frets up from where ever you play the last double stop).
