12-bar Solo in A using Major Pentatonic Licks

Hey Blues Fans!
Get ready to abuse those fingertips. Here is a 12-bar blues solo in the key of A that utilizes some nasty (but tasty) bends. These blues licks will definitely help build-up those callouses. This solo primarily uses licks from the A major pentatonic and E major pentatonic scales. You’ll hear hints of Albert King, Robin Trower, and BB King in these riffs. Below the video is the backing track that I used in the video. Once you master these licks, experiment and see what else you can come up with. Have fun.

New Backing Track for 8-bar Blues in Bb

Hey Blues Fans!
I installed Band in the Box 2009 so I can create some backing tracks for the lessons. My first attempt can be found here:

http://www.learnblueslicks.com/8-bar-blues-solo-in-b-flat/

The backing track controls are located below the video. It’s just the chord progression looped about ten times. This should help you master the lick and get the correct timing. As I get more familiar with this software, I hope to add more backing tracks.

As always, your comments are welcome.
