2nd Most Important Guitar Lick
Wow! That title is a pretty bold statement, and it’s only my opinion. However, I feel this is one of those licks that every great player uses over and over. YOU NEED TO KNOW THIS LICK! Hendrix, Page, Clapton, all the greats play this one. The lick itself is simple, but it takes practice to build up the speed. Play this one over and over until you get it down.
Here’s a tip on the picking: On the first time through only, the first three notes are all down strokes. The fourth note is an upstroke then pull off. When repeating the lick, the first note (bend) is an upstoke and the others stay the same.

You don’t need to spend money on this site, as everything is free.
Don’t have the time to go on a “hunt” for your hidden lick. The one you posted was good but I guess I’ll just have to leave it at that and go to a more user friendly site and spend my money.
So… what is THE most important guitar lick?

It’s here on the site. You just have to look for it.
I’ve wanted to learn that one for a long time. I can hear so many uses for it now in my head, and just where to place it. Just need to get my speed up!
Thanks for a great lick, really is a blues classic.
