8-bar Blues Solo in B-flat

UPDATE! I installed Band in the Box 2009 and created a backing track so you can practice. The backing track is located below the video.

Hey Blues Fans,
As promised, here is the blues solo to play over the 8-bar chord progression I posted on Friday (12 Feb 09). The solo itself isn’t too difficult, but the key is to change up the dynamics, that is, emphasizing some notes while giving others a more subtle touch. I tabbed out the solo to make it a little easier. Have fun.
NOTE: After reviewing the video, I made a few verbal mistakes when I called out the chord names. For example, I said B7 instead of Bb7, and E7 instead of Eb7. Please forgive these minor mistakes.

      Haywyre,
Beautiful! I am so impressed with your site! I’ll quit asking for new stuff and concentrate on learning all of the great material you already have out there. Love the chord diagrams and tabs as well!

I’ve added three Hendrix style licks in the last several days. Check the Lesson Archives for the month of August.
