Very true. Also, you forgot Blackadder. :) However, especially for any possible younger audiences watching this who weren't around at the time that most of these were on air, House is likely to be the TV show that many have watched most recently. I think that we can all agree that? he's a fantastic actor in all of his roles, and it is a little sad that some people here haven't seen some of his most famous shows. However, if House introduces them to Hugh Laurie then I don't see it as a problem.

Why does everyone just talk about? his role as "Dr. House". He's been Bertie Wooster in Jeeves and Wooster and also a stand up comedian in "A bit of Fry and Laurie" both with Stephen Fry. He's so much more than that bloody House.

Actually, Gershwin? receives no credit really. He was good, but not the first. Ben Harvey has been named the "Father of Jazz" because of his chart in 1897. Soon after, Scott Joplin was influenced by this chart to write other charts like it and expand on the idea, thus Ben Harvey birthed Jazz. *pushes glasses up*. Hugh Laurie is a pretty good stride player.
