Quick Blues Intro Lick
Hey Blues Fans,
Here’s a quick intro lick that’s a nice addition to your blues arsenal. All the greats, like Larry Carlton, Robben Ford, Billy Gibbons, Stevie Ray, etc., use the lick. It’s shown in G, but can be moved up and down the neck to play in other keys.
One of the keys to making this lick sound good is to nail the “1 to the 1″ move. This is where you play a note on one string, then slide up to the same note on the next lower string. In this case, it’s the G note on the high E (third fret), followed by a slide to the G note on the B string (8th fret).
As always, have fun. Your comments are welcome.

Just wanted to express my appreciation for what you are doing to help aspiring guitarist.Your lesson videos are awesome. They are short enough to keep most of us from feeling overwhelmed and yet meaty enough that we feel we came away with something really cool. You have helped me a ton !
