Scott Henderson – “Same as You” lesson – Part 3

Here’s the outro to Same as You. Now you have all the parts to play the song in it’s entirety. I suggest you get either the Dog Party CD, or Torn Down House. The Dog Party version uses more acoustic slide; the Torn Down House version is killer electric blues. Use some little riffs from the E blues scale to add some spice.

    Haywyre,
I love jazzy chord progressions like that when they are incorporated into the blues. Great job! Check out Eric Clapton’s “Old Love”. It has some cool chord progressions as well.

Old Love is a great tune. Perhaps that’s a future lesson.

Your right; I hadn’t heard of Scott Henderson. This is my type of music – tasty chord changes. Downloaded track (acoustic version)on ITunes (dontcha luv the internet).

    Thanks once again.

    dreamer_al,
If you like fusion stuff, check out the band Tribal Tech. The band includes Scott Henderson and Victor Wooten on bass.
