Slowing down videos with Windows Media Player

Hey Blues Fans,
Here’s a quick tutorial on using windows media player to slow down videos so you can learn those fast licks.

This only works with WMV files. If, for example, you download a video from YouTube, you’ll need to convert it to a wmv file. If you search for FLV to WMV converter, you find a bunch of programs that can do this.

The only downside is that there isn’t a looping feature, so you’ll have to reset the position slider.

I hope this helps. I will do some more software tutorials in the future.

    Haywyre,
Very nice. If watching a DVD on your TV, a lot of people are not familiar with the “A-B” button on the DVD remote control. It allows you to pick a segment of the DVD and loop it over and over again. However, it does not slow anything down for you.
